Jay Mitsch
Hi, I'm Jay, the founder of Gravity Assist. I'm a math and science enthusiast with a B.S. in Mathematics and dual certification in Elementary and Secondary Education. I've been helping students unlock their potential for over 20 years, both as a classroom teacher and a private tutor, working with over 500 students, families and schools. I believe every student can succeed, and I love creating a fun and engaging learning environment where they can connect with the material and build confidence. When I'm not working, you can find me on the soccer field, basketball court, or surfing the waves. I'm also a proud dad and an avid runner who enjoys a good ultra-marathon.

At Gravity Assist, I serve as a consultant and developed our AI Fundamentals course, designed to make emerging technology accessible to everyone. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new tech, building websites, and staying active through sports. I’m excited to help each student discover how capable they really are.

I hold two Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering, and I've been recognized by Forbes Africa for my achievements. I specialize in tutoring math, science, and standardized tests.
